Understanding Familiar and Familial Spirits

Familiar spirits are spirits that possess a deep understanding of an individual’s tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, and triggers. Similarly, familial spirits are well acquainted with the family members of a person. These spirits specialize in actively controlling minds, implanting thoughts of failure, promoting self-hatred, fostering comparisons, exerting pressure to overperform, inducing regret, defeat, surrender, despair, hopelessness, and other destructive thoughts. Moreover, they manipulate and create circumstances to ensure the realization of these negative outcomes, thoughts, and emotions. They’re goal is to deceive us into believing that these destructive thoughts are our own, leading us to become self-absorbed and engage in actions that are contrary to God’s will for our lives. Additionally, they can cause physical afflictions upon individuals.

Dr. Ron M. Horner of Lifespring International was informed by Heaven that there has been an increase in the activity of these spirits during this season. I believe this surge can be attributed to the unprecedented level of wickedness prevailing in the world today, which serves as an open invitation for the enemy to gain control.

Identifying and Removing Familiar and Familial Spirits

These spirits can be demons but can also be lingering human spirits (LHS) under evil assignment by a demon guard. The Bible refers to these LHS under assignment as evil spirits. If we examine the Greek term for “spirit” in the context of an evil spirit, the word used is “pneuma” rather than ”daimonion.”

Depending on the specific context or the accompanying word describing the “pneuma,” it can refer to either the spirit of a human being or the Holy Spirit. I delve into this topic with more comprehensive explanations in my blog post titled “What Are Lingering Human Spirits: How they Impact People.

Overcoming and Reclaiming your Identity

Now, let’s explore how we can remove these spirits from our lives:

      1. It is crucial to focus on and confess what God’s word says about us.
      2. Remember and confess our position is in the heavenly realms with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).
      3. Acknowledge that you are a child of God (2 Corinthians 6:18).
      4. Seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to discern whether you are dealing with a familiar (familial) spirit.
      5. Request of The Father, access to the Court of Records, within the Court of Titles and Deeds.
      6. Ask the clerk at the Unwanted Guest Registry to sort (search) for familiar spirit.
      7. Inquire whether it is an LHS on assignment or simply a demon.
      8. If it is an LHS on assignment, seek guidance from the Holy Spirit or the clerk to identify the strongman overseeing the demon guard over the LHS.
      9. Request that angels come with chains and bind and remove the strongman and the demon guard and send them to the abyss of Revelation 20:3.
      10. Open the silver portal request the escorting angels to escort the LHS(s) through the portal. Instruct the LHS(s) to appeal to The Father for mercy when they stand before him.
      11. Once the LHS(s) is gone, close the portal and ask that the clean up angels remove all the debris left by all these spirits.
      12. Thank the Court and exit.

    Salvation Prayer:

If you are reading this blog and have not yet accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, and you desire to receive Him now, please recite this prayer out loud:

“Lord Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I ask you to forgive my sins and cleanse them with your precious blood, which you shed to pay the penalty for my sins. I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died and rose again on the third day. I invite you to come into my heart and life as my Savior and Lord. With your help, I will live for you until the day you call me to heaven to be with you. Thank you, Lord.”

If you sincerely prayed that prayer in faith, welcome to the family of God. Begin reading your Bible and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to guide you to a good church where you can grow in your relationship with Him.
