Have you ever prayed, fasted, declared God’s promises over your finances—yet nothing seems to change? You tithe, you give, and you believe, but it feels like something invisible is standing in the way.
The truth is, there are likely unseen spiritual barriers holding back the breakthrough God has for you. The enemy is a legalist, and if there are unresolved accusations or sins on record—whether from your own life or your bloodline—he can use them to block your financial blessings.
The good news? God has provided a way for these blockages to be removed so His provision can freely flow into your life.
Understanding the Source of Financial Blockages
Many Christians stand on God’s Word about finances. They confess promises in faith yet still struggle to see financial prosperity in their personal life, business, or ministry.
Often, the root cause is spiritual blockages — unresolved spiritual legal matters in the heavenly courts. These can include:
- The enemy’s accusations (Revelation 12:10)
- Curses and witchcraft
- False verdicts or evil bonds
- Liens, notes and ungodly oaths
- Disobedience such as withholding tithes (Malachi 3:8–10), cheating on taxes, or stealing
- Harming another person’s ability to prosper — either by your own actions or those of your ancestors. This includes moving boundary stones (Deuteronomy 19:14; Proverbs 22:28), harming them physically or cheating someone of their rightful wages (James 5:4).
These are just some of the issues that give the enemy a legal right to hinder your finances from increasing—or even from entering your life at all.
Removing Financial Blockages Through the Courts of Heaven
Here’s a step-by-step way to address these blockages and open the way for your breakthrough:
- Position Your Spirit
Ask your spirit to come forward then ask your soul and body step back and rest in the Lord Jesus Christ - Request Access of The Father Access to the Court of Records
Ask the Father for access to the Court of Records. Once there, request that the Court Clerk present the folder of outstanding matters that are hindering your financial breakthrough. These may include unresolved accusations, sins of your bloodline, or hidden agreements you or your bloodline knowingly or unknowingly came into alignment with. - Request Access from the Father to the Court of Mercy
Agree with the accuser, Satan, that the sins he’s accusing you of occurred, confess them, and ask for the cleansing power of the blood of Christ to remove the sin and accusation. - Go to the Court of Appeals
Request the overturning of any false verdicts recorded against you, such as,” she/he will always be poor”, “she/he is a miser”, “his/her business or ministry will never prosper”, etc. - Proceed to the Court of Cancellation
Ask that all curses, witchcraft, liens, notes, ungodly oaths, vows be nullified and removed. - Proceed to the Court of Titles and Deeds
- Request that each evil bond be stricken through and cancelled
- Enter the Court of Restitution
Ask the Court what you should petition for, then petition for the return of stolen finances and money-making opportunities, along with new streams of provision to be released into your life, etc.

Final Encouragement
Financial breakthroughs are not always about working harder—they’re about removing what’s been standing in the way of God’s provision. When you clear these legal blockages in the Courts of Heaven, you align yourself with God’s justice and open the door for His abundance to flow.

Salvation Prayer
If you are reading this but you have not yet accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, but you desire to do so, recite this prayer aloud in faith:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I ask You to forgive my sins and cleanse them with Your precious blood, which You shed to pay the penalty for my sins. I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died and rose again on the third day. I invite You to come into my heart and life as my Savior and Lord. With Your help, I will live for You until the day You call me to heaven to be with You. Thank You, Lord.”
If you prayed this prayer in faith, welcome to the family of God. Begin reading your Bible daily and ask the Lord to lead you to a good church where you can grow in your relationship with Him.
