As the new year approaches, many of us feel the desire to start fresh—to leave behind past burdens and step into a season of renewal. Inner healing is a crucial step in this process, not only for peace of mind but also as the foundation for deliverance. When unresolved emotions like grief, regret, unforgiveness, or bitterness remain, they can create spiritual blocks that hinder your healing and breakthroughs.
Reflect, Release, and Seek the Truth
Inner healing begins with reflection. Consider what burdens you’ve carried over the past year. Write them down—grief, anger, or unresolved conflicts and take them to the Courts of Heaven. Enter the Court of Records and ask to see what is recorded in your Outstanding Folder. These records hold everything concerning you. By accessing them, you can uncover spiritual hindrances that may be affecting your life.
Why go to the Courts of Heaven? Because the enemy, Satan, has already gone there to accuse you of holding onto these things, disqualifying you from obtaining physical healing, financial breakthroughs, and other blessings. But as you approach the Court of Records in humility and faith, you can confront these accusations, repent, and release what has been weighing you down.
Forgive, Repent, and Reconcile
Inner healing involves forgiving those who have wronged you and seeking forgiveness for your own shortcomings. Repent of harboring unforgiveness, bitterness, prolonged grief, regret, or any negative emotion that leads to sin. Reconciliation—with others, yourself, and the Lord—is essential for removing spiritual barriers that the enemy uses against you.
Repentance and surrendering these burdens to the Lord are critical for achieving freedom and healing. His Word assures us, “By His stripes, we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). However, we must intentionally appropriate this healing by releasing these weights and inviting Him into the deep, wounded places of our soul. Only then can He bring restoration and renewal. As we let Him heal our inner being, then healing will extend to our physical body as well.
Embrace Deliverance
Inner healing leads to deliverance from demons, evil spirits, and lingering human spirits*, breaking the chains of the past. As you present your case in the Courts of Heaven, trust God to restore and renew your soul. Step into the new year lighter, unshackled, and fully prepared to receive the blessings He has prepared for you.

Salvation Prayer:
If you have not yet embraced the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, this is the most important decision of your life. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” He is the gateway to heaven. If you wish to invite Him into your life, recite this prayer aloud in faith:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a Savior.
I ask for your forgiveness for my sins, and I trust in your precious blood, shed to atone for them.
I believe that you are the Son of God, who died and rose again on the third day.
I now welcome you into my heart and life as my Savior and Lord. With your help and guidance, I commit to living for you.
Thank you, Lord.”
If you prayed this in faith, welcome to the family of God. Begin reading your Bible daily and seek guidance to find a church where you can grow in your relationship with Him.
