Before you start reading, ask heaven for the oil of ease for your soul. Ask your soul to step back and rest in the Lord Jesus Christ, then ask your spirit to come forward and engage with heaven.

In Jeremiah 36:7, it talks about making supplications to the Lord. In a recent engagement with heaven, Dr. Ron M. Horner of Life Spring International Ministries was introduced to the Court of Supplications and Acquisitions. He learned that he received access to this court due to his proper and faithful stewardship of other courts (see Zechariah 3:7) and his intimacy with the Father and pursuit of God’s word. This court grants access based on our stewardship of intimacy with the Father, as it resides in a chamber of the Father’s heart.

In the Court of Supplications and Acquisitions, you must back your petitions with the word of God, as this provides legal precedence. If you have a need, identify the scriptures that address it and present them before this court. They already know your prayer and have it in the ledger, waiting for you to back it up with scripture. They know what you are going to pray before you pray it. For example, if you have a financial need, bring your supplication for provision based on Philippians 4:19.

The enemy, Satan, cannot enter this court, but he can appeal your supplications if there is a lack of faith, disagreement among involved parties, or sin. The enemy knows when there is a lack of faith, discord, or sin in our lives (see Amos 3:3). Repent for the lack of faith, discord, and sin. Forgive, bless, and release those who do not agree with you. Then, ask the court to overturn the enemy’s appeal and request the judge’s verdict.

Ask the court counsel to show you the ledger of supplications to see if any appeals exist next to your prayers of supplication that need addressing. Inquire about the basis of the appeal and repent accordingly as stated above. Additionally, ask the court what other petitions or supplications you should bring before the court and support with scriptures. If there’s nothing else, request your verdict. Thank the court and exit.

Salvation Prayer:

Finally, if you are reading this blog post and have not yet embraced the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord, this decision is the most important decision of your life.  Jesus Christ proclaimed, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” He is the gateway to heaven. If you wish to invite Him into your life as your savior and Lord, recite this prayer aloud in faith:

“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a savior.

I earnestly ask your forgiveness for my sins, and I place my trust in your precious blood, shed to atone for my sins.

I believe that you are the Son of God, who died and rose again on the third day.

I now welcome you into my heart and life as my savior and Lord. With your help and direction, I commit to living for you until the day you call me to be with you in heaven.

Thank you, Lord.”

If you have spoken this prayer in faith, welcome to the family of God. Begin by reading your Bible daily and seek the Lord’s guidance to discover a suitable church where you can grow in your relationship with Him.
